Then, enjoy a walking tour of the Atlanta BeltLine. This stroll along the Eastside Trail is a great way to get acquainted with your surroundings while learning of the city’s urban revitalization and sustainable development. Once a neglected railway, you’ll explore transformed walking paths designed to connect 45 vibrant neighborhoods, shopping districts, eateries and street art that showcases the city’s creativity. Your guided tour will provide insights into Atlanta’s railroad history, the vision behind the BeltLine project, as well as the socio-economic impact on surrounding communities.
Evening:
While exploring, you’ll arrive at Ponce City Market for your welcome dinner! A historic landmark transformed into a bustling food hall, students will have the freedom to choose from dozens of culinary vendors, giving them a sampling of Atlanta’s diverse and dynamic food scene. This is a perfect opportunity for your group to explore in a lively, modern, and tasty setting. Then, toast the night with one of Atlanta’s Haunted Ghost Tours! Explore historic—and allegedly haunted—sites around Midtown and downtown and enjoy spooky, dramatic stories tied to local Atlanta history. Return to your hotel for the night and enjoy a much-needed rest.
Day 2: Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, Center for Civil and Human Rights, Ebenezer Baptist Church, Fernbank Museum of Natural History, Centennial Olympic Park, SkyView Atlanta, Lucky Strike Bowling
Morning:
Start your morning with a hearty breakfast at the hotel before jumping into a powerful and moving educational experience. The group will visit the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park, where the legacy of Dr. King is preserved and celebrated. It includes his childhood home, the Ebenezer Baptist Church, and the visitor center which gives context about the Civil Rights Movement. Students will gain better understanding of this moment in history before heading over to the Center for Civil and Human Rights, for powerful interactive exhibits that connect the American Civil Rights Movement to today’s global human rights struggles.
Afternoon:
Refuel with a delicious lunch nearby before proceeding to the Fernbank Museum of Natural History. Explore the remnants of some of the world’s largest dinosaurs, including a full-scale skeleton. This museum also houses outdoor exhibits, a forest, and a 3D theatre. For some time outside, your group will visit Centennial Olympic Park, which was built for the 1996 Summer Olympics. Here you’ll ride SkyView Atlanta, the giant, climate‑controlled Ferris wheel. At the top, you’ll get panoramic views of the skyline—a great way to see the layout of Atlanta and gain access to picture-perfect photo opportunities.
Evening:
Then, for a night of sport and camaraderie, your group will enjoy a bowling night at Lucky Strike Atlantic Station! Chow down on a menu of American classics and let your students unwind with some friendly competition. As the evening comes to a close, head back to your hotel for a comfortable night’s sleep.
Day 3: Zoo Atlanta, Georgia Aquarium, Hard Rock Café Farewell Dinner
Morning:
After filling up on breakfast at the hotel, gather your group and set out for Zoo Atlanta. Have your students engage in conservation-focused experiences with interactive exhibits, educational programming, and optional opportunities for behind-the-scenes encounters with the animals. The zoo also boasts amenities such as a carousel, train ride, and an aerial playground known as the Treetop Trail—a fun climbing experience and a unique vantage point to see the zoo and its surroundings.
Afternoon:
Eat lunch with your gorup before you immerse yourselves in the wonders of aquatic life over at the Georgia Aquarium. One of the largest and most impressive aquariums in the world, you’ll see giant tanks housing exotic whale sharks and habitats designed around playful interactive exhibits. The aquarium offers educational programs and a behind-the-scenes look at their conservation efforts and animal care. This is a fantastic opportunity to see real-world applications of marine biology and environmental science in a relaxed and entertaining way.
Evening:
As your final night in Atlanta gets under way, your group will arrive at the iconic Hardrock Café for an electric farewell dinner. This rock & roll themed restaurant is the perfect way to celebrate the end of a successful trip. Enjoy your meal surrounded by costumes, guitars, and memorabilia that once belonged to rock legends and famous musicians. Soak in the energetic atmosphere of a night out in the city. After a fun and filling meal, head back to your hotel for a full night’s sleep before your departure the next day.
Day 4: Departure Day, Coca-Cola Museum
Morning:
Greet the morning and enjoy one final breakfast at the hotel before gathering all belongings and checking out. Head for the Coca-Cola Museum before departure, one of Atlanta’s most popular attractions. A perfect place to pick up any last-minute souvenirs, you’ll enjoy a deep dive into the history, branding, and global impact of the world’s most well-known soft drink. When ready, begin your safe journey home.
