Day 1: Arrival, The Hermitage, Opryland Hotel & Gardens, Welcome Dinner and Grande Ole Pry Show
Morning – Group departs for Nashville, Tennessee
Afternoon – Arrive and meet your tour guide. Visit The Hermitage, the plantation and museum once home to president Andrew Jackson. Explore and learn about the land on a guided tour of this 1,000-acre National Historic Landmark. Break for lunch and get your first taste of Tennessee cooking. You’ll then visit the Opryland Hotel & Gardens then make your way to hotel for check in.
Evening – Your welcome to Nashville dinner is served! After your meal, sit back, relax, and enjoy a show at the Grande Ole Opry!
Day 2: Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, RCA Studio B, City Walking Tour
Morning – Complimentary breakfast is served at your hotel. Head on over to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum and explore the museum, home of one of the world’s most extensive musical collections. Come check out Elvis Presley’s 1960 “Solid Gold” Cadillac limousine, or Johnny Cash’s iconic black suit!
Afternoon – After lunch you will take a tour of the historical RCA Studio B. Step inside the studio where Elvis recorded over 200 songs. The studio, built in 1957 helped establish Nashville as a national recording center.
Evening – Enjoy dinner at a hand-picked local restaurant and continue to savor the authentic flavors of the city. After dinner, unwind with a walking city tour before heading back to your hotel for the night.
Day 3: Belle Meade Plantation, General Jackson Showboat Dinner
Morning – Complimentary breakfast is served at your hotel. Your day will begin with a visit to the beautiful Belle Meade Plantation. You’ve heard of Seabiscuit, Secretariat, Funny Cide, Smarty Jones, and Giacomo. Now come and see where their bloodlines began! Once a world-renowned 5,400-acre thoroughbred horse farm, Belle Meade Plantation today is a 30-acre historic site and museum.
Afternoon – After lunch you will have free time on your own for shopping and exploring downtown Nashville with your tour guide.
Evening – Dinner tonight will be on one of the largest showboats ever built, the General Jackson Showboat. While “rollin’ down the river,” you’ll experience the full beauty of Nashville, as it can best be seen from this vantage point on the Cumberland River. Take lots of pictures before docking and heading back to your hotel for a rest.
Day 4: Departure Day, Ryman Auditorium, Farewell Lunch
Morning – Complimentary breakfast is served at your hotel before check out. For your final entertainment, embark on a self-guided tour of the Ryman Auditorium. Established in 1892 as the Union Gospel Tabernacle, Ryman Auditorium is a National Historic Landmark that has hosted a jaw-dropping list of artists from all genres. From Harry Houdini and Charlie Chaplin to Lizzo and Harry Styles, this last stop is a pilgrimage for music lovers and a must see for any Nashville visitor.
Afternoon – Enjoy a farewell lunch with your group in the city before setting out on your safe journey home.
