Day 1

Afternoon: Welcome to Barcelona! Meet your tour guide at the airport and make your way to your hotel.

Evening: Your group will enjoy a delicious tapas welcome dinner.

Day 2

Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, get ready for a busy day of seeing and visiting some of Barcelona’s most famous sites. Our first stop of the day will be Sagrada Familia, designed by Antoni Gaudi, and constructed in 1882. You will learn about the history, design, and construction of this astonishing UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Afternoon: Enjoy lunch in Barcelona’s charming Born district. Depending on the time of year, take the afternoon off to relax on the beach, or partake in a bus tour where you will see and explore more sites such as: Park Guell, the Olympic Village, Tibidabo (Barcelona’s highest point), and more!

Evening: You’ll surely be hungry after a busy day of sightseeing. Tonight, your group will partake in a Paella cooking class! Your class will begin with a trip to Llibertat Market to shop for ingredients, then you will learn how to cook a classic paella, and of course get to enjoy your delicious meal for dinner!

Day 3

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel before meeting your tour guide for a half day tour of Montserrat, a stunning mountain range outside of the city. Your tour guide will provide you with the amazing history of the area, and of course you’ll have the chance to explore amazing sites including the towns 1,000 year old monastery, as well as the town’s museum containing the works of Picasso and Dali.

Afternoon: Group lunch in Montserrat, enjoy two hours of free time before joining the group in returning to Barcelona.

Evening: Explore Barcelona on your own tonight!

Day 4

Morning: Depart your hotel and travel to Madrid!

Afternoon: This afternoon, your tour guide will lead you on a walking tour of the city. You’ll have a chance to go inside the Royal Palace of Madrid, visit the Plaza de Oriente, Sabatini Gardens, Campo Del Moro, and more.

Evening: Tonight, you will be treated to dinner and a flamenco show!

Day 5

Morning: Your morning will begin with a guided tour of the Prado Museum, the main Spanish national art museum. Here you will learn about the works of art dating from the 12th to 20th century.

Afternoon: We’ll enjoy a cafe lunch, and then head over to El Rastro Market, a large open air flea market. Shop for souvenirs, chat with local vendors and craftsmen, or try some local dishes as you browse the market! Next, we’ll visit Plaza Mayor, the must-see square in the heart of the city.

Evening: Your last night is Madrid is yours for exploring!  We recommend sampling some churros con chocolate, checking out Puerta Del Sol, or taking a leisurely stroll to appreciate the city’s architecture.

Day 6

Morning: After breakfast, your group will depart for the airport. Adios, and safe travels home!
