Day 1

Morning: Departure and flight to Beijing.

Afternoon: Welcome to Beijing! Upon arrival you will meet your tour guide and transfer to the hotel. Check in and freshen up.

Evening: Enjoy your welcome dinner with group at one of the local restaurants.

Day 2

Morning: After breakfast, start your adventure. Today you will have the chance to walk along the Great Wall, see the Royal Palace and sites of the Forbidden City. After arriving to the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China, you will have 2 hours to wander and take in the magnificent beauty of one of the Seven Wonders of the world. Afterwards, you will enjoy a traditional Chinese lunch in a restaurant near the Ming Tombs.

Afternoon: Once you have rested and finished your lunch, you will visit Tiananmen Square, which is the largest city square in the world and named after the “Gate of Heavenly Peace” situated to the north of the square. And lastly, you will head to China’s most glorious site – the Forbidden City and Royal Palace. You will have time to explore this once imperial palace which now houses the Palace Museum and take in the beauty and intricate structures. During today’s tour you will also visit jade factory shops and a Chinese medicine shop and have a foot massage if you wish so.

Evening: Enjoy dinner in one of the local restaurants and head back to the hotel for a rest before an exciting day tomorrow!

Day 3

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Today you will travel to the Summer Palace – one of the best examples of an imperial garden where you will admire monuments, the lake and stunning hilltop views.

“Built in 1750, the Summer Palace is the largest and best-preserved royal park in China and was used by emperors for rest and entertainment.
The site features a lake that was substantially enlarged during the reign of Empress Dowager Cixi. In addition to the lake and the main hill, the impressive complex features several pavilions, towers, bridges, corridors and even a marble boat.”

Afternoon: After lunch, continue exploring the gardens of the palace – see the Tower of Buddhist Incense, the Dehe Garden, Suzhou Street and the Wenchang Tower. If you are in the mood to relax and enjoy a boat ride on Kunming Lake, you have a chance to do that too!

Evening: Upon arrival, have a lovely local meal and get a well-deserved rest!

Day 4

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel! Today you will transfer to the airport and board your flight to Shanghai -a  city that evokes glamour, mystique and so much history. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel where you can freshen up and get ready for your day.

Afternoon: After lunch, you will visit Yu Garden “the only fully restored classical Chinese garden in Shanghai which was inaugurated in the Ming dynasty and has a total area of 20,000 square meters. Marvel at how this magical place perfectly demonstrates the sophisticated art of combining several different elements to create a world in miniature – ingeniously mingling pavilions and corridors, small hills, and carefully selected and well-placed rocks, lotus ponds, bridges, winding paths, and trees and shrubs.”

Your next stop will be the Shanghai Museum, founded in 1952 and rebuilt at its current location in 1996. Considered one of China’s first world-class museums, its style of presentation surrounds and excites visitors with ancient wisdom and philosophy.

Evening: You will have the evening for yourself – shop, explore and immerse yourself in the wonderful atmosphere of Shanghai. Enjoy a delicious dinner and get a well-deserved rest!

Day 5

Morning: Enjoy a hearty breakfast as you are in for a full day of fun! You will hop on a sightseeing bus tour and explore Shanghai at your own pace. The open-top bus will provide stunning views of the city ́s colorful skyline. You will see many sites including People’s Plaza, Nanpu Bridge, famous Bund and the Jade Buddha Temple. You are free to hop off any time and explore a site of interest to you – there is a premium option that includes free access to selected attractions.

Afternoon: After savoring a traditional meal in a local restaurant, proceed with your city tour. Visit the Shanghai Art Museum and Yuyuan Garden. Try a river cruise on the Huangpu River and marvel at the stunning sites from the water. Visit Nanjing Road and Xin Tian Di – a fashionable pedestrian street composed of antique-style Shikumen residences as well as modern architecture.

Evening: Tonight, you will board a flight to Hong Kong. Upon arrival, check in, freshen up and meet for dinner at a local restaurant. Afterwards, head to your hotel for rest, it’s been a long day and you need to recharge for your adventure in the morning!

Day 6

Morning: After a delicious breakfast, you will embark on a full day adventure through magnificent Hong Kong. Meander through the business district, visit Central and Sheung Wan neighborhood where you will savor the fantastic local food. From delicious dim sum, noodle dishes, drinks and desserts -the culinary tour will take you through the back alleys and open markets while learning about Hong Kong’s history.

Afternoon: The rest of the day is yours to freely explore the sites and monuments – see Victoria Peak and Man Mo temple. Take time to shop and stroll the streets at your own pace.

Evening: After arriving at your hotel, meet for a farewell dinner with your group. Return to hotel and rest before your trip back home.

Morning: After breakfast and check out, your group will depart for the Airport! Safe travels back home!
