Day 1

Morning: Departure and flight to Geneva.

Afternoon: Welcome! Arrival where you will meet your tour guide and transfer to the hotel. Check in and freshen up.

Evening: Enjoy a welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2

Morning: After breakfast you will start your day with a tour through the beautiful city of Geneva. Greet your guide at a central location to start your panoramic city tour. See the dramatic fountain of distinct beauty – Jet d´Eau, admire the spires of St. Pierre Cathedral and more.

Hear historical facts about important political headquarters and diplomatic organizations found in the city. Immerse yourself in the prosperous past of Geneva.

Afternoon: After lunch, continue to explore this magnificent city on your own. Visit the Conservatory and Botanical Gardens if you wish so. Shop and walk the streets while taking in the sights of Geneva!

Options for sightseeing and visit: Jardin Anglais (English Garden) and Parc de la Grange.

Evening: Meet for a group dinner in a local restaurant and head back to the hotel for a rest to gain energy for the Mount Pilatus trip in the morning.

Day 3

Morning: Enjoy breakfast and afterwards meet your tour guide. Today you will travel to Lucerne and Mount Pilatus.

Afternoon: After arriving and having lunch at a local restaurant, you will meet at the valley station in Kriens, and enjoy a 30-minute gondola ride over pre-Alpine landscape to reach Fräkmüntegg. There you will transfer to the aerial cableway known as “The Dragon Ride”.

After a 5-minute ride you will arrive at 7000 feet above sea level where you can soak up the breathtaking view over the lake and Alps. Continue  the tour on the world’s steepest cogwheel railway. This will take you down through rock faces, mountain streams and lush meadows before reaching Alpnachstad.

Evening: Return to Geneva and meet for a late dinner before getting well deserved rest.

Day 4

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and travel to Lake Geneva. It is easy to fall in love with Lake Geneva. It is the background for many of the loveliest city views and nothing can match the lake as being a backdrop for snow-covered Alps. You are in for a treat.

Afternoon:  Stop for lunch and then travel from one part of the city to another on its Mouettes Genevoises, motor-launches that have been shuttling between lakeside quays since 1897. Or you have the choice to go on a trip on a regular boat that connects Geneva with Lausanne, Montreux and other towns which are some of the most popular places to visit near Geneva.

Evening: Return to city and have an entire evening to do whatever your heart desires! Find a lovely place for dinner and taste local food!

Day 5

Morning: After breakfast, your group will visit CERN and the Large Hadron Collider. The Swiss have long been pioneers in many fields of science and engineering, so this visit is a must-see when in Geneva.

In 1905, while living in the Swiss city of Bern, Albert Einstein published four papers which today are considered the foundations of modern physics. This “Annus Mirabilis” delivered the foundations of quantum theory and special relativity.

Afternoon: Have a relaxing lunch and continue your tour by visiting The Science Museum as well as the United Nations. Take time to shop, relax and stroll the city.

Evening: Meet for a farewell dinner with your group and enjoy the rest of the evening on your own. Return to hotel and rest before your trip back home.

Day 6

Morning: After breakfast and check out, your group will depart for the Airport! Safe travels back home!
