Day 1

Morning – Group departs for our Nation’s Capitol and upon arrival you will meet your tour guide at the Capitol Building for admission.

Afternoon – Enjoy lunch in the Visitors Center, afterwards make your way to the Capitol Steps for a photo-op. Your tour guide will begin your monuments and memorials tour. Enjoy viewing the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Wall and Korean Memorial and the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial as well as many more!

Evening – You will arrive at your hotel for check in before venturing off to your welcome dinner in Old Town Alexandria. Your evening will conclude with enjoying a walking Ghost and Graveyards Tour. Return to the hotel for a much needed rest.

Day 2

Morning – Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and depart for historic Gettysburg, PA.

Afternoon – Arrive at Visitor Center and enjoy lunch. Enjoy admission to the Visitors Center and the film “A New Birth of Freedom” & Gettysburg Cyclorama.  You will board the bus and begin a narrated Battlefield Tour. Continue on for admission and tour of the Shriver House.

Evening – Enjoy dinner at a historic restaurant. Afterwards group will enjoy a walking tour and free time to purchase a souvenir before you return to your hotel in DC.

Day 3

Morning – Breakfast is enjoyed at the hotel. Group checks out and loads luggage on the bus. Depart for Arlington National Cemetery and enjoy admission to the narrated trolley tour. You’ll then meet the bus and visit the Iwo Jima Memorial.

Afternoon – After lunch you’ll make your way to the White House. Be sure to have your cameras ready for a group photo opportunity. Our final destination will be the Smithsonian Museum(s) of choice.

Evening – A farewell dinner is enjoyed before you begin your safe journey home.
