Day 1

Morning: Departure and flight to Hanoi.

Afternoon: Welcome to Hanoi! Upon arrival, meet your travel guide and transfer to the hotel. Check in and freshen up.

Evening: Enjoy your welcome dinner with the group at a local restaurant.

Day 2

Morning: After breakfast, discover Hanoi – a thousand-year-old city with the most beautiful sites and attractions. Tree-lined boulevards, colonial buildings and picturesque lakes, the capital of Vietnam is overflowing with charm. You will visit Van Mieu Quoc Tu Giam (the famous Temple of Literature), the first Imperial school in Vietnam, constructed in 1070 during the dynasty of King Ly. Along the tour you will also visit landmarks, such as Hoan Kiem Lake, But Tower, Dai Nghien, and the Huc Bridge. You will traverse the “36 Meandering streets” of Hanoi’s Old Quarter and get a sense of bustling local life.

Afternoon: After lunch, take time to relax or continue exploring the city. You will have time to shop or enjoy a cycle (rickshaw) ride through Old Hanoi. Visit the Chau Long Market and savor traditional Vietnamese foods.

Evening: Enjoy dinner in one of the local restaurants and head back to the hotel for a rest before an exciting day tomorrow!

Day 3

Morning and afternoon: Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel. Today you will take a traditional cruise to the stunning Ha Long Bay, visit the Heavenly Palace Cave, fishing farm and floating village. You will be picked up in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, then head out to Ha Long Bay and board the traditional cruise. While on the sundeck, relax and enjoy delicious seafood. During the cruise, enjoy the scenery of small islands, sheer cliffs, sandy beaches and beautiful coves. These islands have the most wonderful names, such as Incense Burner, Fighting Cock and Stone Dog. You will also have the opportunity to explore the emerald-green waters by kayak or bamboo boat.

Evening: Upon arrival, have a traditional meal at a local restaurant and head to your hotel for a rest.

Day 4

Morning: Enjoy a lovely breakfast at your hotel! Today you will travel to the ancient landscapes of Bái Đính and Tràng An, visit the biggest pagoda temple complex in South East Asia and explore the grottos of Tràng An on a traditional sampan.

You will start by exploring the temple complex of Bái Đính near the Dinh Mountain and admire the limestone karst formations. Walk to the peak of the mountain to see the statue of Buddha Sakyamuni and take in the stunning views of your surroundings.

Afternoon: Enjoy a buffet lunch in a Vietnamese restaurant and head to Tràng An grottos. Aboard a traditional sampan, you will cruise close to the marvelous caves carved in the rocks and have time to absorb the peaceful surroundings and sites.

Evening: You will have the evening to yourself. Enjoy a delicious dinner and return to your hotel for a rest.

Day 5

Morning: After an early breakfast, board your flight to Ho Chi Minh City, the most dazzling city of Vietnam pulsating with culture and commerce. Ho Chi Minh breathes life and vivacity into every visitor. You will be taken along on a magical ride.

Afternoon: Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel, check in and freshen up. Today you will enjoy a tour of the city and visit some of the most interesting sites Ho Chi Minh has to offer.

Start by admiring the French colonial architecture, including Notre Dame Cathedral. Wander the huge halls of the perfectly preserved Reunification Palace and visit one of the oldest Chinese temples which is still used as an important place of worship. See Thien Hau Pagoda in Cho Lon, dedicated to the Lady of the Sea. The last stop of the tour will be a lacquerware factory where you can observe the manufacture of traditional Vietnamese products.

Evening: Meet for a group dinner and return to your hotel for a rest.

Day 6

Morning: After a delicious breakfast, get ready for a fantastic tour through the Mekong Delta. Your adventure will include kayaking, cycling and taking part in a traditional cooking class.

You will depart from Ho Chi Minh City and enjoy a 2-hour journey to Cai Be. Upon arrival, take a boat cruise along the Mekong River and pass by a floating market. You will visit a craft village and see how locals make their products, visit orchards of local fruit, refresh yourself with a hot tea and taste diverse and exotic fruit, such as durian, longan and rambutan.

Afternoon: Take a cooking class and cook your own meal inspired by local traditions. Afterwards, explore the delta by bike and kayak before returning to the city.

Evening: After arriving at your hotel, meet for a farewell dinner with your group. Return to the hotel and rest before your trip back home.

Morning: After breakfast and check out, your group will depart for the Airport! Safe travels back home!
