Day 1

Morning: Departure and flight to Kathmandu, Nepal.

Afternoon: Welcome to Kathmandu! Upon arrival you will meet your tour guide and transfer to the hotel. Check in and freshen up.

Evening: Enjoy your welcome dinner with group at one of the local restaurants.

Day 2

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel! Today you will explore 4 different World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley. You will begin your tour at Kathmandu Durbar Square, a royal palace known as a cultural and political hub of Nepal. Observe the spectacular architecture of the ancient Malla and Shah dynasties. Next, continue to Swayambhunath Temple, also known as the “Monkey Temple” situated on a small hillock. It is a sacred place for Buddhist pilgrimages from all over the world.

Afternoon: After lunch, continue to Boudhanath Stupa which is located on the ancient trade route between Nepal And Tibet. The Stupa is said to entomb the remains of the Kassapa Budha. The last stop of the tour will be the Pasupatinath Temple – sacred Hindu shrine which is located on the bank of the Bagmati River.

Evening: Return to Kathmandu and enjoy a delicious dinner and get a well-deserved rest!

Day 3

Morning: After breakfast, start your adventure. Today you will go on a Jamacho Hike and take in the supreme views over the Kathmandu Valley and the surrounding areas. You will visit Shivapuri National Park and Jamacho Gumba – a Buddhist shrine. At the top, you will enjoy a delicious lunch and have time to relax and take photos.

Afternoon: On the hike back you will discover a view tower which offers a bird’s-eye view of the Kathmandu Valley, and on a clear day see the magnificent Himalayas, including Mt. Everest, in the north.

Evening: Upon your return, enjoy dinner in one of the local restaurants and head back to the hotel for a much needed rest before an exciting day tomorrow!

Day 4

Morning: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel. Today you will embark on a day trip to Kirtipur and take part in Newari Food Tasting experience. Kirtipur, located on a hill to the southwest of central Kathmandu is one of the several ancient kingdoms in the Kathmandu Valley and is a prime location to learn about Nepal’s many distinct ethnic groups and original inhabitants of the valley. Marvel at the exquisite architecture, hilltop temples and sweeping city views. Its winding streets made of cobblestone, old brick houses with elaborate window frames, and golden pagodas will transport you to a different world, full of colorful and exciting beauty. Continue your tour and visit Bagh Bhairab Temple, Chilancho Stupa Shrine, Uma Maheshwar Temple and Theravada Buddhist Monastery. Enjoy a delicious Newari lunch and return to your hotel.

Afternoon: Relax and enjoy the afternoon at your hotel or explore the magical city of . Visit Kathmandu ́s Old Town and The Garden of Dreams.

Evening: You will have the evening for yourself – explore, shop and have a lovely traditional meal at one of the local restaurants.

Day 5

Morning and afternoon: Enjoy breakfast at your hotel! Today you will embark on a tour to Patan and Bhaktapur and explore Nepal ́s stunning palaces, temples, shrines, squares, and more. Patan and Bhakapur were separate kingdoms in early times and are saturated with age-old palaces, monasteries and courtyards. These two cities exhibit otherworldly views which you can capture in photographs while admiring and immersing yourself in the culturally and sensory-enriching experience. Patan Durbar Square is the main attraction where you can find museums, palaces, Hindu temples and more. Bhaktapur, located 12 km from Kathmandu city, still exhibits its medieval spirit. Within Bhaktapur Durbar Square, you will find Nyathapole Temple, Golden Gate and 55 Window Palace. Find a pleasant local restaurant when you’ve worked up an appetite and enjoy a delicious meal.

Afternoon: After lunch, enjoy the rest of the day exploring the city on your own!

Evening: Meet for a delicious dinner and get a well-deserved rest!

Day 6

Morning: Enjoy a hearty breakfast as you are in for a full day of fun today! Each year, Kumari, or the Hindu Living Goddess, makes only 3 public appearances in Kathmandu. In this tour you will learn about the goddess, one of the most fascinating aspects of Nepali culture and follow one of the Kumari routes while being immersed in the sights and sounds of Thamel and Kathmandu.

Afternoon: After lunch, enjoy the sizzling city on your own. Shop, stroll the streets and fall in love with this wonderful place. Visit the Garden of Dreams which is one of the most serene spaces in Kathmandu.

Evening: Meet for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant and head to your hotel for rest.

Morning: After breakfast and check out, your group will depart for the Airport! Safe travels back home!
