Day 1

Morning – Group will travel to this iconic city.

Afternoon – Arrive in Memphis where you will meet your tour guide and enjoy lunch. Afterwards you will take a guided tour of the world’s most famous rock ‘n’ roll residence – Graceland! The sprawling home of American legend Elvis Presley. Next the group will continue on to the Memphis Rock & Soul Museum, a Smithsonian exhibition devoted to the birth of rock and soul music.

Evening – You will then enjoy a welcome dinner and continue on to the hotel for check in and evening activities.

Day 2

Morning – Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast you will make your way to the National Civil Rights Museum, which gives students an insight on the struggles and impact of the civil rights movement in America.

Afternoon – After lunch you’ll depart for Sun Studios.  Enjoy a tour of the legendary studio where Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Roy Orbison and Johnny Cash all began their rock ‘n’ roll careers. You’ll then continue on to the Stax Museum of American Soul Music, the original site of Stax Records, with more than 2000 interactive exhibits paying tribute to all of the artists recorded there.

Evening – You’ll end the evening with dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, where you can enjoy your meal among the various Rock ‘N’ Roll memorabilia.

Day 3

Morning  Have breakfast and then check out.  Your day begins with a visit to the Cotton Museum.  Learn the history of this crop that transformed American culture.

Afternoon  Your final destination will be the Memphis Zoo. The zoo is known as one of the best zoos in America and one of only four in the country to house the endangered panda. You will then visit the Mud Island River Walk, an exact scale model of the lower Mississippi River and enjoy lunch before your departure home. home!
