Day 1

Morning – Group departs for Richmond. Upon arrival meet your tour guide at the Science Museum of Virginia for admission. You’ll enjoy exploring the hundreds of hands-on experiences and exhibits.

Afternoon – After lunch you’ll depart for the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. Enjoy your guided tour of VMFA.

“The Virginia Museum of Fine Arts has about 22,000 works of art spanning 5,000 years. See pieces by French artists such as Claude Monet and Edgar Degas, Americans such as John Singer Sargent and Winslow Homer, and a collection of Fabergé jewels from Russia. There are also ancient Greek and Egyptian statues, and masks from the Congo.” 

Evening – Make your way to the hotel and check in. After your welcome dinner at local restaurant, your evening will be capped off with admission to a theatrical extravaganza.  (Location and show TBD) Return to hotel for a much needed rest.

Day 2

Morning – Breakfast will be at the hotel. You will meet your tour guide and begin a city tour.  You’ll then continue on to the Virginia Holocaust Museum. Group will participate in a docent-led tour of the Museum.

Afternoon – Lunch is enjoyed at a local restaurant. You’ll then make our way to the famous James River Park Pipeline Walkway and enjoy a scenic walk.

“Pipeline Park is accessed via a small catwalk on top of a pipeline that cuts across a section of the James River in Richmond, Virginia.”

Evening – After a farewell dinner, the evening will conclude with a ghost tour. This story telling experience, where guides in character, special effects make-up and costumes, will lead you to several historic and haunted sites.

“At each site they will tell tales of the history and paranormal activity associated with the location. Expect to discover a part of Richmond’s history that will surprise you, thrill you, and we promise – scare you enough to leave you wanting more!”

Return to the hotel and get a good night sleep.

Day 3

Morning – Breakfast is served at the hotel and then you’ll check out. You’ll then depart for a thrilling day of fun and adventure at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, PA.

Afternoon – Enjoy lunch (voucher provided).

Evening – Meet bus and begin your safe journey home.
