The city was given the nickname by tourism officials, who were promoting Seattle as “The Emerald City” in the mid-1980s. This is mostly due to the lush, green forests of Washington and the more than 6,000 acres of parks within the city limits.

Day 1

Morning – Group departs for Seattle, Washington.

Afternoon – Arrive and meet your tour guide. Group enjoys a brief city tour and continues on to the hotel for check in.

Evening – A welcome dinner is served, and then you will make your way to the Seattle Space Needle. Admission to the Observation Deck where you will journey 520 feet up and enjoy 360 degree views that make the Space Needle an international marvel.

Day 2

Morning – After breakfast is served group will depart for Pike Place Market.  The market is one of the country’s oldest farmers markets. Take time wandering this unique location and enjoy the many fine artisans and vendors.

Afternoon – Taste what’s in season at a farm stand or restaurant as you enjoy lunch on your own. Continue to the Seattle Aquarium and waterfront.

Evening – Make our way to EMP, also known as Experience Music Project Museum.   Afterwards group enjoys a late dinner before returning to the hotel.

Day 3

Morning – Breakfast is served then group departs for a narrated cruise where you will learn more of Seattle’s history. Boat returns to dock and we continue on to the Seattle Art Museum.

Afternoon – Lunch is enjoyed and group continues on to Woodland Park Zoo.

Evening – Return to hotel and freshen up. Make your way to dinner.  Afterwards enjoy a ride on the Seattle Great Wheel, the tallest ferris wheel on the West Coast.

Day 4

Morning – Breakfast is served then group departs for the Boeing Factory and admission to Experience the Future of Flight tour.

Afternoon – After lunch continue on to The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center, where you enjoy an “interactive journey that brings to life the connections we share with others across the globe.”

Evening – After a farewell dinner is served, the evening will commence with black light bowling at the Acme lanes.

Day 5

Morning – Breakfast is served and you will check out. Make your way to Chihuly Garden and Glass. Enjoy the exhibition of world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly.

Afternoon – Depart for a safe journey home.
